Ottawa lost their starting QB Trevor Harris a couple of weeks ago, only to have his replacement Drew Tate injure himself on the weekend. Tate might dress as an emergency back-up but is very unlikely to play, meaning 3rd stringer Ryan Lindley is the likely to get his first CFL start on Friday in Winnipeg. Lindley's only real playing time came last week after Tate got injured and he wasn't very impressive going 7/14 for 76 yards. Prior to that, he'd been used only in short yardage situations by the RedBlacks who are 5-7-1 this year. Meanwhile, the Bombers enter this game with a record of 8-3 and are coming off their bye week looking to stay within range of the league leading Stampeders. They've had the highest scoring offense all season and should have many short field opportunities to add to their totals.
